Specialist Support Tutor: Reading & Writing

Compensation

Full-time all year round equivalent: £32,346.00 to £40,557.00 per annum.

Salary for part-time: £23,720.38 to £29,741.78 per annum.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial support interviews with students referred to the specialist support team.
• Provide out-of-class tutoring support sessions with FE learners.
• Complete assessments for students referred to Specialist Support with reading, writing, spelling, memory and/or processing difficulties to inform teaching and learning strategies.
• Assess for and apply for the relevant Access Arrangements.
• Manage a cohort of students and complete 1:1 specific reading, writing, and spelling programmes and assignment support.
