Job Description:

TAC & Family Engagement Lead – 37 hours per week

(Mortimer Community College) – Band 6 SCP 22 – £33,699 per annum (pro rata)

Position: Permanent, Non‑Teaching, Term‑Time Only + 5 days. Required as soon as possible.

Overview

We are appointing a TAC & Family Engagement Lead who will deliver, coordinate, and quality‑assure the full Team Around the Child (TAC) process, ensuring pupils with emerging, persistent or severe needs receive integrated, multi‑agency support.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all TAC meetings, documentation, assessments, agency liaison, referral pathways and review cycles.
  • Provide intensive family‑facing support, including home visits, early intervention, multi‑agency engagement, attendance recovery work and removal of practical/emotional barriers affecting a child’s education.
