Audit Associate – Peterborough

We are looking for an experienced, professional and enthusiastic Audit Associate within our Audit Team. The successful candidate is expected to be in their 2nd or 3rd year of ACA/ACCA study with solid technical skills.

Responsibilities

  • Work as part of a team to deliver statutory audit and other assurance engagements to our clients.
  • Work with our expansive and varied client base, including a number of large corporate clients and groups with turnover up to £500m.
  • Take all aspects of statutory audit engagements, from planning through to completion, and be involved in the preparation and review of group and single entity financial statements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  • Supervise, coach and develop new trainees.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Studying ACA/ACCA.
  • Prior experience in an audit and accounts role, with emphasis on audit experience.
  • Preferably experience in CCH AP and AA as well as Inflo.
  • Motivated, organised, commercially minded and have a clear perception of good client service.
  • Good interpersonal skills, demonstrate initiative and be able to provide accurate work in a timely and cost‑effective manner.
  • Flexible, professional approach, and have the confidence and ability to establish credibility with partners and clients.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Natural team player, positive and enthusiastic attitude.
  • Driving licence and ability to travel to client premises (beneficial but not pre‑requisite).
