Meridian Business Support is recruiting for a Senior Machine Operator to join a leading manufacturing business with exciting growth plans.

Key responsibilities

• Setting up machines and preparing for production
• Completing product changeovers and clean-downs
• Ensuring maximum machine efficiency and minimal downtime
• Monitoring equipment and resolving issues
• Carrying out safety checks and maintaining a safe environment
• Supporting and training new operators

Requirements

• Previous machine operating experience (senior level desirable)
• Engineering or mechanical background
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physical role
