Job Description:Robert Half Finance and Accounting are currently looking to recruit a Credit Control Manager to join an exciting Professional Services company based in central Bristol. For the right person the client is offering a very competitive:
£38,000 – £42,000 plus hybrid remote working and excellent wider benefits
Role responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Manage the day-to-day operations of the credit control function, ensuring invoices are collected in accordance with agreed payment terms, and management and reduction of aged debtManage and develop a team of 2 direct reports, providing mentoring, support, and performance management, ensuring team targets and objectives are achievedOversee timely allocation of cash receipts and manage advance receipt of funds to maintain accurate financial recordsDesign and implement processes to maximise debt recovery and improve overall credit control efficiencyPrepare debtor reports for presentation to senior management and take ownership of forecasting receipts for cashflow planningManage credit risk, assessing client creditworthiness and setting limits and terms in line with company policies Contribute ideas to the ongoing development of the new accounting systemPrepare responses for the auditors as part the annual audit cycle to evidence receipts and billingAd-hoc tasks as required to support the businessPerson specification:
Significant credit control experienceLine management experience with a proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop a small teamStrong knowledge of credit control processes and aged debt managementProficient in Excel and confident in producing financial reportsAbility to influence senior stakeholdersExcellent attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to prioritise workloadsStrong verbal and written communication skillsA proactive, enthusiastic, and flexible approach to workFor the right person the client is offering a very competitive:
