About the role
Are you ready to work in a dynamic, hands‑on role where you play a key part in creating high‑quality castings? We are looking for Foundry Operatives to join our team and help drive excellence in our production processes.
Departments
- Assembly & Fettling – Assemble cores and finish castings to the highest standards.
- Machine Operation – Work with bandsaws, pro‑saws, and robotic cutting tools (training provided).
- Moulding & Core Blowing – Prepare tooling, create moulds, and operate core blowing machines.
- Quality Control – Inspect, pressure test, and heat treat castings for top‑tier quality.
- Material Handling – Operate forklifts (certification required) and shotblasting equipment.
Who we’re looking for
No prior experience is required, just an interest in manufacturing and a willingness to learn. If you do have existing Foundry experience, you could be offered a position at a more senior level.
- A positive attitude: motivated, reliable, and eager to develop new skills.
- Ability to work well with others in a supportive, hands‑on environment.
- Fork Lift Truck (FLT), Crain and/or First Aid training (desirable).
- Ability to travel to site.
