Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (06:00‑14:00) or Monday to Friday (14:00‑22:00)

Salary: Up to £15.10 per hour (approx. £29k per annum) inclusive of shift allowance (where applicable), dependent on experience

About the role

Are you ready to work in a dynamic, hands‑on role where you play a key part in creating high‑quality castings? We are looking for Foundry Operatives to join our team and help drive excellence in our production processes.

Departments

  • Assembly & Fettling – Assemble cores and finish castings to the highest standards.
  • Machine Operation – Work with bandsaws, pro‑saws, and robotic cutting tools (training provided).
  • Moulding & Core Blowing – Prepare tooling, create moulds, and operate core blowing machines.
  • Quality Control – Inspect, pressure test, and heat treat castings for top‑tier quality.
  • Material Handling – Operate forklifts (certification required) and shotblasting equipment.

Who we’re looking for

No prior experience is required, just an interest in manufacturing and a willingness to learn. If you do have existing Foundry experience, you could be offered a position at a more senior level.

  • A positive attitude: motivated, reliable, and eager to develop new skills.
  • Ability to work well with others in a supportive, hands‑on environment.
  • Fork Lift Truck (FLT), Crain and/or First Aid training (desirable).
  • Ability to travel to site.
