Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Residential Property Legal Secretary to join our busy property team in Bath. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive individual with strong organisational skills and a keen eye for detail to support our solicitors and contribute to the smooth running of the department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing full secretarial support to fee earners in the residential property team.
  • Preparing, formatting, and amending correspondence and legal documents.
  • Handling telephone calls and emails in a professional manner.
  • Managing diaries, arranging appointments, and maintaining filing systems.
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other third parties.
  • Undertaking administrative tasks including photocopying, scanning, and filing.
  • Ensuring deadlines are met and compliance procedures are followed.

About You:

  • Previous experience as a legal secretary, ideally within residential conveyancing.
  • Strong typing and IT skills (Microsoft Office, case management systems).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and work under pressure in a busy environment.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Professional, reliable, and a team player.
