SEN Teacher (Special Needs – Autism)

Salary: £195 – £255 per day. Job Type: Long Term. Location: Lambeth. Start: ASAP.

We are looking for a qualified (QTS or QTLS), EYFS/KS1 SEN Teacher with proven experience teaching children with Autism, sensory needs and additional complex learning difficulties at the EYFS level.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and ensure students continuously challenge themselves to improve.
  • Establish and maintain standards of pupil behaviour to create an orderly and productive environment.
  • Apply a strong understanding of mental health challenges in children and adolescents.
  • Implement strategies to support emotional well‑being.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, plus a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • British QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.
  • Proven classroom experience or training in SEN teaching.
