HGV Class 1 (C+E) Driver

Location: Exeter

Pay: £20.82 – £23.85 per hour

We are recruiting HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for Royal Mail’s Exeter Distribution Centre.

Responsibilities

• Trunking mail and parcels between Royal Mail depots across the UK.
• Operating Class 1 vehicles safely and professionally.
• Following drivers’ hours and WTD regulations.
• Completing digital tachograph entries accurately.
• Representing Royal Mail with pride and professionalism.

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence held for at least 2 years.
• Minimum 180 days of proven commercial driving experience (insurance requirement).
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card is essential.
• No more than 6 penalty points (no DD/DR/IN/CD/TT endorsements accepted).
• Strong geographical knowledge & a professional attitude.
• Ability to pass a DBS security check.
• Successful completion of site assessment & induction before starting.
