Dynamic Maths Teacher (KS3–KS4) – Long-Term Role

About the role:

We are looking for a committed Maths Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Rotherham from September 2026 to Easter (April) 2027. This is a full-time, long-term supply position with excellent potential for future opportunities within the school. The school is well-regarded for its supportive staff team, strong community values, and its focus on raising achievement for all learners. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and differentiated Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Plan, prepare and assess work in line with curriculum expectations.
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and create a purposeful learning environment.
• Support pupils’ progress, providing additional guidance where needed.
• Contribute to the wider school community and departmental development.

Pre-requisites:

• Relevant teaching qualifications (QTS or QTLS required).
• Proven experience of teaching Maths at secondary level (placements acceptable for ECTs).
• Strong knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 Maths curriculum.
• Two education or school-based references.
• A valid enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
