What You’ll Be Doing
- Operating cutting, weighing, or packing machinery safely and efficiently
- Following production plans and schedules to ensure smooth line operation
- Monitoring machine performance and reporting faults or breakdowns quickly
- Ensuring the right weights, labels, and product quality at all times
- Completing relevant paperwork and checks, including pre-start and end-of-run checks
- Assisting with line set-up and changeovers to minimise downtime
- Supporting hygiene and cleaning tasks in line with cleaning instruction cards (CICs)
- Following all health, safety, and food safety procedures
- Working closely with your team to hit daily targets and keep everything running smoothly
Working Conditions
- Chilled factory environment – PPE provided
- Fast-paced and physical role, working as part of a team
- Involves standing, lifting, and operating machinery throughout the shift
What You’ll Bring
- A good level of focus and attention to detail
- Confidence operating machinery (training will be given if needed)
- Ability to follow procedures and safety instructions
- Good communication and teamwork
- Previous experience in food production or FMCG (a bonus, but not essential)
- Willingness to learn and a proactive approach to getting the job done
