About the Role:
As an Exam Invigilator, you will play a key role in overseeing examinations, ensuring all procedures are followed correctly. You will help maintain a quiet and controlled environment, allowing students to focus and complete their exams without disruption.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise students during examinations and ensure exam conditions are upheld
- Distribute and collect exam papers in accordance with guidelines
- Ensure all exam regulations are followed at all times
- Assist with setting up examination rooms prior to sessions
- Address any issues or irregularities in line with school procedures
- Maintain a calm and professional presence throughout exams
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a school or exam setting is beneficial but not essential
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to remain focused
- Clear communication and a professional manner
- Ability to follow strict procedures and guidelines
- Punctual, reliable, and well-organised
- Have the right to work in the UK
- Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years
- Have a DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education
