Responsibilities
Shifts: 8:00 am – 3:00 pm, 3:00 pm – 10:00 pm, 8:00 am – 10:00 pm, 9:00 am – 2:00 pm, 12:00 pm – 7:00 pm, 11:00 am – 6:00 pm, 10:00 pm – 9:00 am (2 waking night shifts).
Provide 24/7 support to individuals with a range of care needs, including medication administration, moving and positioning, catheter care, PEG feeding, dietary requirements, hydration, bowel management and support for conditions such as epilepsy, autism and intense interaction. Involve staff in daily decisions and encourage independence.
Participate in mandatory training: e‑learning, face‑to‑face moving and positioning, EMFA, medication training, PEG training (in collaboration with nurses), and support for acute diagnoses with Monkwearmouth nurses.
