Family Support Worker – Schools (Maternity leave cover)

Hours: 30 hours per week, full time. This role spans the whole school year with some coverage during school holidays.
Responsibilities
Provide a range of support services to address the social and emotional needs of children and their families.
Work directly with primary and secondary aged children, parents/carers and school staff in three schools to deliver tailored interventions that strengthen resilience and improve attainment.
Collaborate with schools, health and social care agencies and the voluntary sector to support children and families overcome adversity and disadvantage affecting emotional wellbeing, mental health and educational achievement.
Qualifications
- Full driving licence and reliable access to a car.
- Experience working with vulnerable children and families in a school setting.
- Knowledge of supporting children’s emotional wellbeing and educational progress.
