CCTV Drainage Operative

Job Summary

Work as part of a team covering Birmingham from the Minworth site, carrying out CCTV surveys of drainage systems. Analyse pipe conditions with state‑of‑the‑art equipment to produce high‑quality reports in both pre‑planned and reactive settings. The reports support the Waste Network Team in strategising and prioritising damaged assets and in diagnosing faults and prioritising repair work.

Responsibilities

• Carry out CCTV surveys of drainage systems.
• Analyse pipe conditions to produce detailed reports.
• Diagnose faults and code findings to support repair planning.
• Liaise with control centre, operations, maintenance and customers to build strong relationships.

Qualifications and Experience

• Prior experience in the drainage industry.
• Hold an OS19X certificate, a high‑pressure water jetting certificate, and an up‑to‑date CSCS card.
• Class 2 or C1+E licence and a full UK driving licence.
• Passion for quality work and attention to detail.
• Must have a towing licence.
