Responsibilities
- Maintaining high levels of health & safety standards
- Moving and loading waste safely and efficiently
- Reporting contamination and non‑compliant waste
- Identifying and reporting service, safety, and environmental concerns
- Communicating effectively with the team
- Checking all vehicles before use and reporting any defects
- Staying alert for fire hazards and reporting smoke, smouldering, or flames
- Maintaining a clean and tidy site
- Driving yellow plant machinery
- Representing Veolia professionally at all times
- Carrying out waste sampling
Qualifications
- Effective communication
- Good time management
- Desirable: Mobile Plant Licence (shovel)
- Previous experience working in an operational environment
- A strong team‑working ethic
