Hours: 42.5 hours per week – Monday to Friday 07:00 – 16:30 with flexibility. Location: Poole, BH16 6LT.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining high levels of health & safety standards
  • Moving and loading waste safely and efficiently
  • Reporting contamination and non‑compliant waste
  • Identifying and reporting service, safety, and environmental concerns
  • Communicating effectively with the team
  • Checking all vehicles before use and reporting any defects
  • Staying alert for fire hazards and reporting smoke, smouldering, or flames
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy site
  • Driving yellow plant machinery
  • Representing Veolia professionally at all times
  • Carrying out waste sampling

Qualifications

  • Effective communication
  • Good time management
  • Desirable: Mobile Plant Licence (shovel)
  • Previous experience working in an operational environment
  • A strong team‑working ethic
