Bank Driver/Receptionist – Norfolk and Waveney

The dual purpose of this exciting role is to be the first point of contact for patients upon arrival at a dedicated base, welcoming them and ensuring their confidentiality is always maintained, whilst also providing transport to GPs on visits around the locality to visit patients. The receptionist element includes comfort calls to patients, appointment booking or incoming calls about a possible bereavement requiring empathy and competent IT skills to navigate a computer while speaking with a possibly distressed patient. The driver element includes vehicle and medical equipment checks and use of an IC24 car to transport clinicians to patients’ homes. A full clean manual driving licence is required.

This role includes a variety of tasks throughout the shift, keeping it balanced and interesting, while always remaining focused. Bank hours available during our out‑of‑hours period (Monday‑Friday 18:30‑08:00 and 24/7 through weekends and bank holidays).
