Furniture Repair Technician

The Best Connection Group – Manchester are currently recruiting a Furniture Repair Technician for our client in Failsworth.

This is a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity for someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work. Previous furniture repair experience is not essential, as full training will be provided. Candidates with woodwork, joinery, DIY, or general workshop experience are encouraged to apply.

Hours & Pay

• Monday to Friday
• 8:30am – 4:30pm
• 45-minute unpaid lunch break
• £13.00 per hour

The Role

Duties will include:

• Repairing and restoring damaged furniture
• Carrying out cosmetic touch-ups and minor repairs
• Using hand and power tools safely
• Inspecting products to ensure quality standards are met
• Preparing furniture for dispatch
• Keeping the work area clean and organised

Requirements

• Some woodwork, joinery, DIY, or practical hands-on experience preferred
• Good attention to detail
• Willingness to learn new skills
• Reliable with a positive attitude
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

This role offers the opportunity to secure a permanent position after a successful temporary period.
