Bodyshop Repair Technician

BODYSHOP REPAIR TECHNICIAN (COMMERCIAL)

Basic Salary: £17.10 per hour.

Working Hours: Monday – Thursday 08:00 – 16:30, Friday 08:00 – 15:30.

Location: Loughborough.

Responsibilities of a Bodyshop Repair Technician

• Carry out body repairs on commercial vehicles to manufacturer standards.
• Perform welding, panel repairs and refinishing work.
• Assist with fault diagnosis where required.
• Ensure repairs are completed safely and responsibly.
• Work in line with warranty procedures.
• Liaise with the parts department to ensure correct parts are fitted.
• Complete job cards accurately and maintain workshop standards.
• Road test vehicles where required (HGV licence advantageous).
• Wear appropriate PPE at all times.

Skills and Qualifications of a Bodyshop Repair Technician

• City & Guilds qualification or equivalent.
• Experience within HGV / PSV / commercial vehicle body repair.
• Experience in welding, painting and body repair.
• Experience within the commercial vehicle industry.
• Ability to produce high-quality repairs from start to finish.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently.
