We are recruiting for several full‑time production operatives. £12.71 per hour raising to £12.90 after 12 weeks.

Working hours: Evenings – Monday to Thursday 14:50 to 23:00, Friday 12:00 to 18:00. Full‑time role totals 36 hours per week.

The vacancy is at Blackburn (BB1). The customer is a leading confectionary manufacturer. The role involves assisting in the production process, ensuring that products are made, quality checked and packed according to food safety and quality standards.

• Operating production line machinery
• Ensuring the quality and safety of food products
• Packaging finished products
• Following strict hygiene and safety regulations
• Monitoring production processes
• Reporting issues to team leader
• Manual handling required
• Checking product matches the packaging
• Filling in paperwork if required
• Quality control of products
• Following site rules and procedures

Requirements

• Be able to work 8‑hour shift
• Previous experience desirable but not essential
• Being able to commute to Blackburn (BB1)
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
