HGV Class 1 Driver DAYS – MALLUSK or ARMAGH

We are offering a permanent full-time Class 1 Day Driver position with immediate start opportunities, based at either Mallusk or Armagh depots. The role involves general haulage work, including local day shifts and Irish tramping, with start times between 05:00 and 06:30, Monday to Friday, with weekend overtime available.

• Earn up to £2000 annual bonus based on performance and attendance over 46 weeks
• Overtime pay at £18 per hour
• Full private medical and dental insurance after 9 months, covering driver, partner, and two children
• Night out allowances of £27.50, weekends additional
• Hourly pay from £15.00

Key Duties Include

• Safe and efficient operation of the truck, adhering to traffic laws and company policies
• Pre-trip vehicle inspections and cargo loading/securement
• Timely delivery of goods and accurate record-keeping
• Effective communication with the Operations Team
• Vehicle maintenance and reporting mechanical issues

Requirements

• At least 1 year of driving experience
• ADR license is advantageous
• Knowledge of Irish transport routes
• Good time management and punctuality
• Cleanliness and respect for the vehicle are essential
