We have an excellent opportunity for Care Assistants to join our Care Teams based in:

  • Whitstable
  • Herne Bay

We have opportunities of both full time and part time positions available. Working usual shift patterns of:

  • Mornings 7am-3pm
  • Evenings 3pm-10pm (there must be mainly evening shift availability)
  • Alternative weekends

Job Description

  • Helping service users overcome any mobility problems and other physical disabilities
  • Domestic tasks such as making and changing beds, tidying rooms, light cleaning, laundry and emptying commodes
  • Assisting service users with personal care such as washing, bathing and toileting arrangements
  • Help with eating and drinking by preparing meals, snacks and drinks, assisting with feeding if required
  • Support with preparing and administering medication
  • Contribute as needed to a person’s end‑of‑life care

Requirements

  • Have a right to work within the UK
  • A driving licence and access to a vehicle is required for this role.
  • No previous experience is necessary but you will need to demonstrate real compassion, be an excellent communicator and problem solver, and be committed to delivering high-quality, respectful care
