Job Description
To work in the Service Users home, enabling them to live their ‘best’ life, ensuring we always work providing dignity and respect. The majority of service users will have some form of physical disability or mental health issues such as Dementia or Alzheimer’s Disease. Some service users may also be receiving end of life care. Preferably you will hold a driving licence and have access to your own vehicle though this is not a necessity as long as you are able to attend local areas. A home care assistant helps vulnerable people to live happily and independently in their own home, because of this it really is one of the most fulfilling and rewarding jobs you could do.
- Assist with all aspects of personal hygiene tasks which may be required
- Dealing with Medication
- Assisting with Nutritional and Hydration needs
