Job Description:

Are you keen to work somewhere that’s stimulating and friendly, with loads of opportunities for growth and plenty of freedom to make a real impact? This could be the place for you!

We are looking for a Sales Associate to join us at INSHUR! We’re based in Brighton, and our company embraces a hybrid working model, allowing you to thrive in both collaborative office settings and the comfort of your own home.

You’ll be working on re‑inventing insurance in exciting markets across the UK, US, and the Netherlands, with plans to expand into new European countries.

What you will do

As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for supporting prospective customers in their purchasing experience and, if required, through the renewal journey.

  • Proactively contacting prospects via phone at high volumes across outbound and inbound channels
  • Own and manage a sales pipeline using our CRM, with predefined campaigns aimed at New Business and Renewals
  • Use consultative sales skills to assess customers’ insurance needs and sell the appropriate INSHUR insurance product
  • Close sales and ensure that customer information is entered and kept updated in our system
  • Meet and exceed weekly and monthly targets across revenue, activity and pipeline health
  • Collaborate with others in the Inside Sales team to drive efficiency in our sales processes

We don’t have a definite checklist of skills – our hiring process is much more about aptitude and passion than ticking boxes. We are looking for the right attitude and drive.

Qualifications

  • Strong background in a high volume telesales role
  • Experience working to targets in an inbound or proactive outbound sales environment with a record of exceeding targets
  • Ability to build rapport over the telephone and forge strong relationships with customers and prospects
  • Passion for adding value to customers and prospects
  • Strong questioning skills to uncover needs and latent needs, and willingness to develop these skills further
  • Curiosity about customers’ needs, budgets and buying processes, and the ability to align our products to them
  • Excellent time‑management and organisational skills to meet daily call criteria and KPIs

Benefits

  • £25,500 to £27,500 base salary + OTE of £8,000–£10,000
  • 30 days of holiday annually, plus bank holidays
  • Private healthcare for you and your family, including pre‑existing conditions
  • Life insurance at 3x your salary
  • 13 weeks parental leave at full pay for new parents
  • Workplace nursery scheme with pre‑tax fee payment
  • Ride‑to‑work scheme
  • Workplace pension scheme with employer match
  • Flexible working hours to suit your lifestyle
  • £500 annual personal training allowance plus regular learning opportunities
  • £40 monthly wellbeing stipend
  • 24/7 Employee Assistance Program covering you and immediate family members
  • All employees receive a laptop, monitor, and standard software suite
