Joinery CAD Draughtsman in Birmingham, West Midlands (County)

Responsibilities

• Working within a small team of both internal and external Draughtspersons/ Setter Outs, the appropriate candidate will be working closely with the Assistant Works Manager for interpreting technical drawings and then producing technical 2D/3D drawings through AutoCAD, for customer approval. Once approved, all information is to then be booked out onto the shop floor to prepare for manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
• Experience in designing to manufacture
• Experience with joinery and or metalwork
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes
• Ability to read architectural drawings and convert to a working document
• Proficient in AutoCAD
