About the role:
We are seeking two Casual CCTV Operators to join our established team at Cannock Chase District Council. This is an exciting opportunity where the successful candidates will play a key role in supporting community safety by monitoring surveillance systems, identifying potential incidents, and sharing accurate information with colleagues and partners. The role demands strong observational skills, clear communication, and a commitment to confidentiality and professional standards.
Shifts are 6 hours and will be offered to cover a 24/7 rota – including days, nights, bank holidays and weekends.
About you:
- Experienced in working in a CCTV control room, or similar environment
- Reliable, observant, and able to maintain focus for extended periods
- Calm and professional when dealing with incidents and pressure situations
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately identify and report events
- Committed to confidentiality, data protection, and professional standards
These roles will be subject to a Standard DBS Disclosure.
Salary: Community Safety Grade C: £13.45 per hour
