We are looking for an experienced and hands‑on Working Carpenter Supervisor to join our growing team in South Wales and surrounding areas.

Role Overview

The position involves supervising and delivering a variety of internal fit‑out and refurbishment projects across retail, hospitals, care homes and schools.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage fit‑out and refurbishment projects up to £200k.
• Ensure quality of 1st & 2nd fix carpentry work on pitched and flat roofs.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and maintain schedules.
• Provide leadership and motivation to site teams.
• Represent the company at client and stakeholder sites.

Ideal Candidate

• Strong experience in 1st & 2nd fix carpentry.
• Background in internal fit‑out projects.
• Experience with pitched and flat roofing.
• Previous supervisory experience on projects up to £200k.
• Excellent leadership and organisational skills.
• Flexible approach and willingness to work away when required.

Essential Qualifications

• SSSTS.
• CSCS Card.
• 3‑Day First Aid.
• Asbestos Awareness.
• DBS Check.

Location of Works

Projects are mainly based across:

• Cardiff
• Newport
• Swansea

There may also be occasional works in the Midlands, London and South West areas.

Package

• £26‑£28 per hour.
• 37.5‑hour working week.
• Temp‑to‑perm opportunity.
• Long‑term career progression.
• Permanent package after probation.
