About the Role

Reporting to the W Lounge Manager, the Barback will have overall responsibility assisting in the daily operation of the bar, ensuring the bar team has the resources to provide exceptional service to guests.

Responsibilities

  • A team player, hard worker, and detail oriented
  • Prepare fresh garnishes for drinks
  • Stock ice, glassware and paper supplies
  • Transport supplies to bar set-up areas
  • Wash glassware
  • Anticipate and communicate replenishment needs
  • Process all payment methods
  • Secure liquors, beers, wine, coolers, cabinets and storage areas
  • Flexible and willing to meet the demands of a 24‑hour operation

Qualifications

  • The ability to create memorable experiences for guests
  • Experience working in a busy bar
  • A fire in your belly for true hospitality
  • Confidence interacting with guests
  • Multi-tasking skills
  • A positive mindset
  • A genuine passion for working in hospitality
