Job Description:

We’re looking for a high-impact Business Development Manager to drive growth across our Industrial Services division, identifying opportunities, winning new business, and ensuring seamless handover into operational delivery. This is a full-time, permanent role paying up to £55,000 plus car allowance, private healthcare and more.

About the Role

You’ll play a pivotal role in expanding our footprint across key sectors including:

AD Plants, Power Generation, Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Utilities, and Manufacturing.

Working across Yorkshire and beyond, you’ll lead the full business development lifecycle from initial enquiry through to contract award and delivery alignment.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Driving new business and account growth aligned to strategic targets
  • Building and managing a robust pipeline of opportunities
  • Leading tenders, proposals, and commercial negotiations
  • Collaborating with operations to ensure safe, efficient service delivery
  • Identifying market trends, competitor activity, and new sector opportunities
  • Acting as a trusted partner to customers, ensuring exceptional service
  • Promoting and embedding a strong health, safety & environmental culture

What we are looking for:

  • Proven experience in business development within industrial services or related sectors
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to spot and convert opportunities
  • Confident communicator with the ability to influence at all levels
  • Experience managing tenders, contracts, and customer relationships
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven mindset
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g. Pipedrive)
  • Full UK driving licence

Desirable: NEBOSH/IOSH or similar safety qualification
