Warehouse / General Operative – Chichester

Are you based around the Chichester area and looking to work in a growing business? This role will give you the opportunity to utilise and enhance your skills.

Responsibilities

• Undertake warehouse and distribution tasks (packing, assist on collections and deliveries, reporting damaged goods, and general maintenance of the warehouse).
• Operate Counterbalance Forklifts to assist in warehouse duties (training can be given).
• Stock control and management (maintaining records).
• Admin work to assist with data processing/preparation of shipping documents.
• Maintain a safe and tidy work area.
• Involve heavy lifting.

Shift and Pay

• 37 hours weekly.
• 4 days working 8 hours, 1 day working 5 hours per week.
• All hours rostered between 07:00 am and 05:00 pm.
• Pay ranging from £13‑£15.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• Someone who has an interest in the company and willingness to grow.
• Friendly and polite, suitable for a smaller team.
• Good work ethic.
• Counterbalance licence (if not, company will train but start at lower rate).
• Valid driving licence (no more than 3 points).
• Happy with the physical attributes of the role.
