Production Technician

Responsibilities

• Manufacture and assemble Electrical Temperature products in line with production orders, delivery dates and work instructions
• Assist with repairs and refurbishment of customer returns, producing reports where required
• Calibrate and certify products across the WIKA ETM range to specified accuracy
• Maintain full material traceability and product quality throughout the manufacturing process
• Identify and report component shortages or defective stock to the Production Team Leader
• Ensure all products released for dispatch are defect‑free, clean, and match order requirements
• Maintain clean, tidy and well‑organised work areas
• Work efficiently to support on‑time delivery performance
• Actively contribute to 5S and continuous improvement activities
• Support other departments when required

Qualifications

• A practical, hands‑on approach with good attention to detail
• Ability to follow work instructions and quality procedures accurately
• Strong awareness of quality, traceability and cleanliness in a production environment
• Good communication skills and a team‑focused mindset
• Flexible attitude and willingness to support different tasks as workloads change
• Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, calibration or electro‑mechanical products
• Experience working to quality standards in a regulated or technical environment
• Awareness of 5S or lean manufacturing principles
