We’re hiring: Sensor Fusion Engineer | Applied Intuition | London
We’re continuing to build out the Applied Intuition team here in London, and one of the key roles we’re hiring for is a Sensor Fusion Engineer.
This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to work on real autonomy systems, not just research or theory.
You’ll be helping build and improve sensor fusion capability across autonomy stacks, working with real sensor data and supporting the development of features that get tested in the field.
The role will involve things like:
• Sensor fusion and preprocessing of sensor data
• Building a reliable picture from camera, radar and other sensor inputs
• Developing new autonomy features
• Testing and iterating in real-world environments
• Spending time on test ranges and supporting flight testing
• Working closely with engineering teams, customers and external stakeholders
We’re particularly interested in people from aerospace, defence, automotive, ADAS, robotics, UAV/UAS or autonomous systems backgrounds.
You don’t need to be a pure research specialist, and you don’t need to be the strongest coder in the world, but you do need to be able to code well in C++ or Python and have practical experience building, testing and improving autonomy or perception systems.
Useful experience would include:
• Sensor fusion
• Camera and/or radar
• Perception
• State estimation
• Object tracking / target tracking
• SLAM / localisation
• Autonomy stacks
• Real-world testing, field trials or flight testing
• C++ or Python
This would suit someone ambitious, practical and hands-on who wants to work close to real-world autonomy capability.
