Role Overview

Are you a Nurse or Pharmacist with an Independent Prescriber qualification and a passion for delivering high quality, evidence‑based treatments in Substance Misuse? We are seeking dedicated professionals to join our team in Sheffield.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the audit process and promote service‑wide or local clinical audit.
  • Implement findings/changes where indicated.
  • Ensure all serious incidents (including deaths in service) are reported, implementing any service changes arising.
  • Disseminate learning across the service and the organisation as appropriate.
  • Provide support and assistance to other Humankind substance misuse services during mobilisation.
  • Collaborate on clinical governance, review and implementation of policies and guidelines.
  • Assist in and have continued involvement with national and local research projects, as appropriate.
  • Keep abreast of policy and professional development within your area of professional expertise.
  • Promote, adhere to and live our workplace values of being honest, committed and inventive.

Knowledge and Skills

  • First level registered nurse or registered pharmacist.
  • RCGP Qualifications Level 1 (and Level 2 or willingness to work towards).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook Office programmes.
