Pupil Support Worker – Broughton High School
Location & Hours
Location: North Edinburgh (Broughton High School). Hours: 30 per week, 39 weeks sessional (Mon‑Thurs 8:00 am – 3:30 pm, Fri 8:00 am – 12:15 pm). Salary: £27,257‑£29,850 per annum.
Responsibilities
• Build capacity of the Enhanced Support team.
• Work as part of a school team to ensure ongoing health, safety and welfare of pupils.
• Assist pupils with additional support needs (e.g., Autism) to organise their day, engage in learning and follow instructions.
• Provide personal care support.
• Inspire and motivate others and champion the rights of all young people.
Qualifications & Experience
• Experience working as part of a school team.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to championing the rights of all pupils.
• Must be willing to join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme or undergo an update check, and provide an Overseas Criminal Record Check where required.
