Join Us as a Support Worker
Park View is a residential service in Burnham on Sea for four autistic adults. There is a self‑contained flat within the home and the main house will be shared between three individuals when the home is fully occupied. It provides an ideal environment for autistic people and with the help of our fully trained and experienced staff we can enable individuals to acquire skills to live more independently.
About the Role
We are looking for caring and reliable Support Workers. Your role is to help people live their best lives by following their support plans and daily routines.
What You’ll Do
- Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, eating)
- Encourage activities they enjoy (swimming, hiking, arts & crafts)
What We’re Looking For
- Inspire others with a positive attitude towards supporting vulnerable people
- Experience with autistic people is helpful but not essential
- Personal experience or a passion for helping others is welcome
This advert is for a permanent position at 15 hours per week.
Your working pattern in this role will require flexibility to meet the needs of the people supported and their families and will include evening and weekend working.
Possession of a driving licence (minimum one year) is preferred.
Requirements
- Successful applicants will be required to complete relevant safeguarding checks.
- Possession of a criminal background check is required. An Enhanced DBS Check within the last 12 months is preferable but not essential.
