As a Centre Network Development Specialist Coordinator you will:

  • Create, refine and maintain a mid‑term Area Development Plan Map on the GIS system for higher‑priority target areas (New Opening, Take‑over, Relocation, Closure, etc.) across UK & I and possibly Germany, including data analysis and field research to identify target locations and customer segments.
  • Refine area design with the Area Manager for the higher‑priority target areas specified by the Branch Manager, considering new centre locations (by 2025) or future designs for existing centres.
  • Be responsible for prospective franchisees up to and including the Orientation Meeting, after which they are distributed among AMs for subsequent development until the centre opens.
  • Carry out franchise recruitment activities for higher‑priority target areas/locations in UK&I and Germany.
  • Use expertise to support other Area Managers in franchise recruitment activities.
  • Spread learning across UK & I by presenting at regional meetings.
  • Liaise closely with other Kumon Associates to develop effective systems and best practices to improve study‑centre set‑up, development and Kumon instructional indices.
  • Seek up‑to‑date advice and guidance from internal Kumon teams or external agencies to provide practical information to prospective franchisees in marketing, HR, finance, logistics, etc.
  • Regularly liaise with the team to identify issues and concerns regarding centre set‑up and development, and implement positive change as needed.
  • Be assigned project work such as organising franchisee workshops, meetings and events on local and national levels.
  • Build and maintain thorough Kumon product knowledge through regular centre visits, timely self‑completion of Kumon worksheets and any other relevant training.
  • Be proactive and committed to an ongoing programme of professional self‑development.
  • Produce, monitor and review accurate records, including statistical information when required.
  • Attend supervision, training and meetings as required; some may be outside normal hours and on weekends.
  • Work with, abide by and positively promote all Kumon UK&I policies and procedures, including health and safety matters.
  • Carry out all reasonable duties as requested by your line manager or other senior management members.
