Recruitment and ESR Assistant

As a Recruitment and ESR Assistant, you will be part of a busy, supportive team responsible for managing essential transactional processes across the employee lifecycle.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating recruitment adverts and pre‑employment checks.
  • Maintaining accurate Employee Staff Records (ESR).
  • Accurately inputting and maintaining data across electronic and manual systems in accordance with established procedures.
  • Handling personal and sensitive workforce information daily, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection principles.
  • Ensuring staff records enable accurate payroll processing.

This role requires strong attention to detail and a process‑driven mindset. It offers an opportunity to develop skills within the Recruitment and ESR team.

Location: North East of England, Gateshead region.
