BANK Community Support Worker DRIVER NEEDED
Salary: £13.21 per hour with £1 extra on a Bank Holiday and Weekend

The Role
We are looking for a community support worker to join our team at one of our community houses – Butt Hill in Garforth, Leeds.
We will train you to provide personalised support to our adult residents. You will follow individual support plans to meet the needs and aspirations of each person. The focus is on developing independent living skills: personal hygiene, meal preparation, exercise, leisure activities, socialising – the daily routine of regular life.

- Establish and maintain professional working relationships with the service users, contributing to the creation of a homely and pleasant living environment for each service user.
- Participate in the development of service user/s support plans, risk assessments and programmes, complete written records as necessary and in accordance with the guidelines provided.
- Providing care and support for our service users when conducting daily tasks
- Provide personal care as and when required
- Creatively support our service users to reach their full potential, achieve their goals and live their best lives
- Accompany service users in activities and visits as and when required
Skills/Experience required:
- Previous experience of working within a care/support environment
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
- A full UK driving licence and car is advantageous
- Good time management
- Ability to prioritise own workload
- Patience and resilience
- Flexibility and Commitment
