Customer Service Advisor

As a key member of our Customer Services team, you’ll play an important role in supporting our customers and ensuring a first‑class experience from enquiry to delivery.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Building strong relationships with customers and responding to enquiries efficiently and professionally
  • Handling inbound and outbound calls, emails, and customer requests
  • Updating customer specifications and arranging samples or marketing support
  • Providing technical and product information to customers
  • Keeping customers updated on order progress and delivery timescales
  • Processing order amendments and changes accurately
  • Supporting the resolution of product or delivery‑related issues
  • Logging and managing customer complaints to ensure swift, positive outcomes
  • Working closely with departments including Production, Purchasing, Transport, and Credit Control
  • Assisting customers with quotations and order enquiries from end users

Full training will be provided on our in‑house systems, including Business Micros and Sage.

We’re looking for someone who is enthusiastic, organised, and motivated to deliver exceptional customer service.

Ideal skills and experience:

  • Previous B2B customer service or trade sales experience
  • Experience within the composite door, double glazing, or builders merchant sectors is advantageous
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Experience using CRM systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • The ability to stay calm under pressure and manage multiple priorities
  • A team‑focused approach and a positive, can‑do attitude

This position is Monday to Friday 08:30-17:00 (37.5 hours per week).
