Salary

£24,084 to £24,701 per annum based on a 36.25‑hour contract / pro‑rate if applicable. Posts are initially offered at the minimum salary point (£12.78 per hour), with progression to the higher salary point (£12.96 per hour) through annual incremental pay rise.

About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and hardworking people who have a keen eye for detail and excellent customer service skills. If you enjoy cleaning in a variety of areas, this role may be suitable. Previous cleaning experience in a similar environment and the ability to work independently and as part of a team is desirable, but not essential – full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

  • General cleaning of offices, teaching spaces, laboratories, toilets, corridors, and stairwells.
  • Provide excellent customer service at all times.
  • Work independently and as part of a team with full training provided.

Hours of Work

  • 16 hours per week, mainly Wednesday to Sunday, working between 6:00 am and 9:15 am (flexibility required).

Positions are offered on a permanent basis, working throughout the full calendar year (52 weeks) including outside-term and student vacation periods. Eligible for a 15% pay allowance for hours worked on weekends.
