Salary & Benefits
Salary range: £36,363 – £40,777 per annum (HC8). Market rate supplement: £5,000 per annum. Welcome payment: £10,000. Retention payment: £2,000 – £4,000 depending on team. Relocation package: up to £10,000.
Contract & Hours
Permanent, 37 hours per week.
Location
Multiple locations: Ross-on-Wye, Leominster and Hereford.
Responsibilities
Work directly with children, young people and families to create meaningful change. Build trusting relationships, offer early help and support, and take decisive action where necessary to ensure safety. Collaborate with families and professionals to deliver holistic care.
About You / Qualities
- Passionate about safeguarding children and supporting families.
- Skilled in assessment, planning and delivering interventions.
- Committed to working collaboratively, inclusively and creatively.
- Resilient, reflective and confident in making difficult decisions.
- Able to work effectively within a supportive team.
- Registered with Social Work England and hold a recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW).
