Either one 20 hour post or two posts as below
Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 4.00 p.m. to 8.00 p.m. (12 hour post)
Saturday and Sunday 10.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m. (8 hour post)
More hours may be available during the school holidays
The family of a happy little boy who is a wheelchair user and non-verbal are looking to recruit a competent, mature and experienced Support Worker. The role will involve some assistance with studies as well as fun time to include outings, playing games and personal care. Free bus travel is available for the outings.
The young man has spastic paraplegia and some developmental delay. The young man can have seizures therefore you should feel able to deal with these calmly. He is now using sign language to assist with communication.
Three beautiful cats are part of the family.
