Job duties
Join an inclusive and supportive team at Jubilee House in Barnsley to provide care to people with Learning Disabilities and Autism. Your day‑to‑day responsibilities include ward rounds, analysing behaviours, updating patient records, assisting with personal hygiene, and adapting care plans with colleagues. You will also help individuals along their recovery pathway to lead a valued and fulfilled life.
Work on a 12.5‑hour shift schedule under a zero‑hour contract, offering the flexibility to balance work and life. Receive weekly pay, a two‑week paid induction, shift booking via the company app, free meals and parking, and mandatory training to support your professional development.
About the workplace
Location: 18 Jubilee Gardens, Royston, Barnsley, S71 4FL. The facility is a registered specialist care home with nursing, providing a safe, homely environment for people with learning disabilities, autism, and related impairments. It operates 24 hours a day with a multidisciplinary team and supports individuals who require higher levels of care over the long term.
