We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Physical Education teacher to join our growing school. This role will predominantly focus on the boys’ curriculum and is suitable for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers.
What will you do?
- Deliver the curriculum as relevant to the age and ability group/subject/s that you teach
- Establish a safe, purposeful and stimulating environment for pupils, rooted in mutual respect and establish a framework for discipline with a range of strategies, using praise, sanctions and rewards consistently and fairly
- Participate in any relevant meetings/professional development opportunities at the school, which relate to the learners, curriculum or organisation of the school including pastoral arrangements and assemblies
- Communicate effectively with parents/carers about pupils’ achievements and wellbeing using school systems/processes as appropriate
