Compliance and Quality Manager – Food Industry

Salary: £70,000 plus £5,000 car allowance and benefits.

Overview

As part of the senior leadership team and reporting to the head of the site, we seek a dynamic leader to become the technical lead overseeing quality, food safety, compliance, and hygiene throughout the site.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of quality, food safety, and legal compliance on site.
• Drive process, product, and technical improvements.
• Coach and mentor stakeholders on compliance requirements and develop audit systems.
• Act as the site contact for external agencies regarding compliance matters.
• Lead site audits to ensure processes and documentation support success.
• Analyze and proactively identify and assess issues.
• Interact with clients to address concerns and provide solutions.
• Drive improvements across metrics within the technical management scope.

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven track record in a technical role within food manufacturing.
• Management experience in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of compliance and hygiene standards in food manufacturing.
• HACCP qualified.
• Excellent communication skills with stakeholders at all levels.
• Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience.
