Fleet Coordinator

Ryton – 40 hours a week (Monday – Friday)

We’re looking for a proactive Fleet Coordinator to join our busy logistics fulfilment team. In this role, you’ll ensure our fleet is always road‑ready, in top condition, and available when our customers need it most. This is a hands‑on role with plenty of variety and essential in keeping our fleet of specialist vehicles running smoothly.

What you’ll be doing

  • Maintaining accurate vehicle records and updating databases for our busy replacement service
  • Monitoring and reporting on vehicle availability
  • Managing MOTs, servicing schedules, and vehicle maintenance
  • Collaborating with teams across the business to provide effective vehicle solutions
  • Handling telephone enquiries and providing direct support to the Fleet Management/Team Leader
  • Filing, administration, and ad‑hoc tasks as required
  • Working efficiently to meet tight deadlines in a fast‑moving environment

What we’re looking for

  • Extensive knowledge of different vehicle types and their requirements
  • Experience in monitoring vehicle condition and quality, ensuring standards are met
  • Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance, legislation, and best practice
  • Proven ability to implement, monitor, and enforce processes to meet or exceed SLAs
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Comfortable working to strict targets and deadlines
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and other online systems
