25-49 – Community Support Worker at Spectrum Society for Community Living
Location: Surrey
Hours: 8 hours per week (4‑hour shifts); schedule flexible with TN.
Type: Permanent Part‑Time
Reporting to: Manager
Salary: $24.50 – $26.65 per hour
Probation: 3 months
Driving: Not required

This is an opportunity to support a vibrant lady who lives in Surrey. TN enjoys going to the gym, swimming, walks and reading at the library. She may ask for assistance in organizing belongings or looking for employment. In the summer she likes Playland and the Richmond night market. Some shifts could be in North Vancouver.
Duties and Responsibilities
The ideal support person is flexible, patient, and encouraging, focusing on TN’s strengths and brilliance and reflecting it back to her.
Qualifications
Preferred Training or Experience: Experience and knowledge of generational trauma is required.
Specific Training or Experience Required:
- Supporting People who get anxious
- Ability to motivate, encourage and engage the interests of others
- Assisting People to find employment or support them in the workplace
- Computer proficiency (email, Word, internet usage)
