Role
The successful candidate will:
- Take full responsibility for a Year 5 class
- Plan and deliver engaging, creative and challenging lessons
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum
- Use assessment effectively to ensure excellent pupil progress
- Contribute positively to the wider life of the school
Ideal Candidate
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (Year 5 experience desirable but not essential)
- Demonstrate high expectations for behaviour and achievement
- Be reflective, proactive and committed to professional development
- Build strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
