Are you a skilled TIG welder looking to put your expertise to work on cutting‑edge aerospace components? Our client, a renowned industry leader in aerospace manufacturing based in Sheffield, is seeking a precision-focused TIG Welder to join their talented team.

What You’ll Do

• Apply your precision welding skills to exotic metals, working with components as thin as 1mm
• Operate sophisticated semi‑automated welding equipment for circumferential and longitudinal welds
• Interpret technical drawings and welding symbols to ensure flawless execution
• Maintain the highest quality standards meeting NADCAP and AS9100 requirements
• Collaborate across departments to optimize workflow and ensure timely project completion
• Identify and resolve welding issues, from equipment maintenance to material challenges
• Document your work meticulously, contributing to quality control processes

What You’ll Bring

• Proven TIG welding experience, preferably in aerospace or another highly regulated industry
• Exceptional skill working with exotic metals and ultra‑thin materials
• Meticulous attention to detail and unwavering commitment to quality
• Knowledge of relevant health and safety standards
• Understanding of lean manufacturing principles (5S)
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, precision‑driven environment

Operational Hours

• 06:00 to 13:45 – Monday to Thursday
• 06:00 to 13:00 – Friday
• 13:30 to 21:15 – Monday to Thursday
• 11:45 to 17:45 – Friday
