Home Care – Care Assistant

Part‑time care assistant position in Salford, with pay at £12.00 per hour on weekdays (double on bank holidays) and £13.00 per hour on weekends. Minimum 1 hr visits with paid mileage at 45p per mile.

Core working hours: 8 am–1 pm and 4 45 pm–9 30 pm. Must work at least 2 evenings per week and alternate weekends.

Responsibilities

• Companionship – provide regular and meaningful social interaction during visits.
• Personal care – support clients with bathing, showering, dressing and grooming.
• Daily tasks – assist with meal preparation, light housework, and other routine errands.
• Accompany clients to appointments and shopping.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Driver with a vehicle insured in your name and Class A Business Insurance.
• GCSE level English or equivalent.
• Resident within Salford.
• Over 18 years old.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Professional, compassionate, and respectful attitude.
• Formal care experience not required; full training provided.
